Graduating summa cum laude, Diana Lozano holds an M.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts in Integrated Media, with an interdisciplinary focus spanning Theatre, Performance Art, Design and Technology. She also holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from New World School of the Arts.
Following graduate school, Diana continued her studies in clowning, mask work and physical theatre at Dell’Arte International in Blue Lake, California. Her ongoing training informs her approach to immersive world building, drawing from disciplines ranging from Butoh and Corporeal Mime to design and fabrication.
From 2005 to 2022, Diana served on the faculty of New World School of the Arts, teaching in both the high school and college divisions. Her teaching encompassed improvisation and movement, while her original Self Expression curriculum explored the development of the actor as creator. Throughout her tenure, she directed the annual Freshman Showcase, guiding students through the collaborative process of devising original theatre from the classroom to the stage.

In 2002, Diana founded CircX, bringing together performance, design, direction, costuming and visual storytelling to create immersive theatrical experiences. Through the company, she has produced, directed, designed and created for thousands of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to premier theatres, music, film and arts festivals.
Her work includes the Travel Channel-documented Chat Noir Club | La Ménagerie, Miami’s longest-running resident cabaret, as well as theatrical nightclub residencies across the U.S.
She has been commissioned by Miami Light Project, with work premiering at the Adrienne Arsht Center and the Miami Light Box, as well as received a Knight Arts Challenge grant and a Knight New Work grant from the Knight Foundation.
Her work spans original cabarets, multidisciplinary theatrical productions, experiential marketing tours, entertainment for music and art festivals, seasonal open-air immersive attractions and theatrical hotel takeovers..
