Requiring performers to work beyond the conventions of the traditional stage, immersive performance is a distinct practice. Drawing from decades of experimentation across physical theater, character work, improvisation, movement, and audience interaction, I have developed a training approach for performers working within immersive environments. From multi-day workshops to half-day intensives, we work with casts, creative teams, and organizations to develop a shared vocabulary for presence, physicality, character, and direct engagement with the audience. These workshops bring the principles of our approach directly into the rehearsal room, giving performers the tools to create compelling, responsive experiences in real time.
